Background
Dr. Sambatakos is a pediatric cardiologist based in Outpatient Care, Pasco, for the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Heart Institute. Previously, he spent three years as a pediatric cardiology clinical fellow and completed a clinical clerkship at the New York-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. He also was assistant course director for the medical student and resident elective, member of the Fellow Peer Mentorship Program and co-chaired the Fellowship Quality Improvement Project.
Dr. Sambatakos completed his residency in general pediatrics at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Holtz Hospital. He earned his Doctorate of Medicine and his bachelor of arts in Chemistry and Biomedical Engineering at Tufts University where he graduated cum laude. He is a member of the Cardiovascular Disease in the Young Council, American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology.
