Dr. Inglese specializes in pediatric neurology at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and works primarily with hospitalized children and their follow-up care. He joined the medical staff in 2020.
 
Dr. Inglese was named Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital best consulting physician in the 2022 Johns Hopkins Medicine Clinical Awards.

Before joining Johns Hopkins All Children’s, Dr. Inglese held several faculty appointments, including associate professor of pediatric neurology and director of the child neurology fellowship program at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He helped manage the wide spectrum of neurological disorders in pediatric patients, and received teaching and distinguished service accolades for mentoring trainees at numerous academic centers.
 
Dr. Inglese is experienced in neuroimmunology, treating patients with immune and infectious disorders of the nervous system. His clinical interests include children and adolescents diagnosed with epilepsy, and helping families effectively cope and live with the neurological disorder.
 
Dr. Inglese earned his medical degree from the University of Bologna in Bologna, Italy. He completed his residency in child neurology at Yale New Haven-Bridgeport Hospital in Connecticut, and fellowship in clinical epilepsy and electrophysiology at St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
 
Dr. Inglese has been awarded numerous research grants and contracts to investigate the effectiveness and safety of different oral and intravenous medications on partial seizures and epilepsy.
